Quercus Endorphina
Quercus Endorphina was the first recording work of Oreka TX.
It was produced by Kepa Junkera and sowed the first seeds of a new conception of the txalaparta by Igor Otxoa and Harkaitz Martínez de San Vicente.
From the first moment, we can feel that interculturality that is part of Oreka TX from its origins. Among the participants of this first work are also Glez Vélez, Ibon Koteron, Justin Vali, Michel Bordeleau, Mikel Laboa and Phil Cunninghan.
In the live shows, participating together with Harkaitz Martinez de San Vicente and Igor Otxoa, you could find the multi-ethnic percussionist Iñigo Egia, the txalaparta players Arantxa and Eli Ansa, and Iñigo Lurgain playing alboka.
