Nömadak TX
The documentary tells the story of two txalaparta players in motion.
Traveling with their txalaparta, they reach India, Lapland, the Sahara and Mongolia to fuse their music with that of remote nomadic peoples.
The magic of the documentary came about from this fabulous journey, and there were two shows that brought it closer to thousands of spectators: Nömadak TX Zuzenean and Karpa Nómada.
Nömadak Tx Zuzenean – View part of it
Oreka TX created an innovative multimedia trip-concert combining images and sounds recorded for the documentary with live music. The giant screen at the back of the stage works as a window to the world, bringing us closer to peoples and individuals. Above and beyond the fusion and experimentation of instruments and cultures, it highlights the links created between different cultures, thanks to music.
They had special guests for the live shows, such as Hosoo, a musician from Mongolia, the Saharawi singer Aziza Brahim, or the North African Ouafaa Aouttah.
Karpa Nómada
You could say this is the intimate format of Nömadak TX live. An inflatable tent welcomed 50 people to go on the multimedia trip together, with the magic of intimacy, images and sounds by overseas artists and the live Oreka TX.
